The Skoda Kodiaq RS is on sale new in Singapore, and the version on the new-car list is the same one our price page quotes. That lets this page put the list price, COE, road tax and insurance for one car side by side. It ends with the costs that depend on you.
The insurance figures are examples for one stated driver, read on 20 October 2026. They are not a quote.
The car
The new-car list read on 2026-10-10 has one Kodiaq RS, an SUV made in the Czech Republic:
- Kodiaq RS 2.0 TSI 7-Seater: petrol, 1,984cc, 261bhp
Our quote form prices the same Kodiaq RS 2.0 TSI 7-Seater, with its 1,984cc engine.
List price
As listed on 2026-10-10, the Kodiaq RS 2.0 TSI 7-Seater was S$287,900, with COE included in the list price that day.
List prices move with each COE round. Ask what a dealer's price includes before you compare offers.
COE: Category B
With a 1,984cc engine, above 1,600cc, the Kodiaq RS 2.0 TSI 7-Seater needs a Category B COE. It closed at S$130,100 in the October 2026 1st round.
Premiums change at every bidding round, so the figure in a new car's price will move too. The COE page has the latest results.
Road tax
LTA's formula gives the 1,984cc engine a road tax of S$1,193.34 a year, before any age surcharge.
A surcharge applies once a car is more than 10 years old:
- Over 10 years: +10%
- Over 11 years: +20%
- Over 12 years: +30%
- Over 13 years: +40%
- Over 14 years: +50%
The road tax page has the formula for other engine sizes.

The spread is fairly narrow, but the starting price is higher than for any of the similar cars below.
The excess
Most plans carry S$600. The plans marked as estimates carry S$800. Others carry S$500, and one has none. No plan goes above S$800.
Confirm the estimated prices on the insurer's own site, where you finish buying.
How the price changes
The price page shows the lowest price when one detail changes:
- No NCD (0%): S$1,187.61, S$128.01 more
- 20% NCD: S$1,187.61, S$128.01 more
- Driver aged 27, 3 years' driving, 30% NCD: S$1,187.61, S$128.01 more

- A new car, registered this year: S$1,080.07, S$20.47 more
- A car 8 years old: S$1,008.57, S$51.03 less
No NCD, 20% NCD and the younger driver all reach the same lowest price, 12% above the standard driver. An older driver and a new car both cost S$20.47 more. For a new car, 8 insurers quote. That matters if you are buying from the showroom.
These are lowest prices only. Dearer plans may move by other amounts. The insurer behind the lowest price also changes between lines, so get quotes for your own details rather than relying on one line.
What to check on a plan
- New-car cover: for a brand-new car, check what each plan pays out if the car is written off early on.
- Several drivers: a 7-seater is often shared. Check who is covered and what a younger driver adds.
- Workshop: these prices assume an authorised workshop. Any-workshop plans may cost a different amount.
- NCD protection: an add-on on some plans, not in these prices.
