What the law requires
Under the Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA), every employer is liable for injuries and diseases its employees get at work. You must insure all employees doing manual work, and non-manual employees earning up to S$2,600 a month. Cover for other employees is optional, but common. The policy must be with an insurer designated by MOM.
The prices on this page
No insurer sells WICA on its own online. Every business package does include it, so the prices above are the nine packages priced with WICA for all your staff, with the part that is WICA shown on each card. The insurers put work injury at their office-staff rate online; staff who do manual work are rated higher, so their cover costs more than shown.
What we need to quote
- Number of employees and total yearly wages, split by manual and non-manual work
- What the business does, and where the work happens (your premises, clients' sites, offshore)
- Any claims in the last three years
Before you choose
- Common-law liability sits outside WICA. An employee may sue you instead of claiming under the Act. Most insurers offer this cover as an extension.
- Contract work often needs a WICA policy covering the site before you can start.
- Foreign worker medical cover for the same workers is usually cheaper when bought with the WICA policy.
Insurers designated by MOM
Only an insurer on the Ministry of Manpower’s list of designated insurers may issue a WICA policy. The list, as at 23 September 2026, names 24 insurers; those on our panel link to their page.
