How much does a Citroen C3 Aircross cost to keep in Singapore? The model is not on the new-car list now, so this is mainly a question for used buyers and current owners. This page answers it cost by cost, with the figures we can show.
The insurance prices are examples for one stated driver, read on 20 October 2026. They are not a quote. Your own premium depends on your details.
The car priced
The new-car list has no entry for this model on sale now. There is no list price, power or body type on this page.
Our quote form prices the Citroen C3 Aircross 1.2, with a 1,199cc engine. It is the version most of our insurers quote.
Road tax
For the 1,199cc engine, LTA's formula gives S$507.72 a year. That was checked on 2026-10-19 and is before any age surcharge.
After 10 years, the surcharge applies:
- Over 10 years: +10%
- Over 11 years: +20%
- Over 12 years: +30%
- Over 13 years: +40%
- Over 14 years: +50%
The road tax page has sums for other engines.
The COE
With a 1,199cc engine, the C3 Aircross 1.2 needs a Category A COE if its power is 97kW (130bhp) or less. It needs a Category B COE if its power is more.
In the October 2026 1st round, Category A closed at S$130,001 and Category B at S$130,100. These move every round; the COE page has the latest.
If you buy used, the COE is already paid. Check its expiry date, as it sets how long you can keep the car.
Car insurance
Standard driver and car
The Citroen C3 Aircross price page prices:
- Car: C3 Aircross 1.2, registered 3 years ago, private use, comprehensive cover
- Driver: aged 40, married, office job, driving 10 to 19 years
- Record: 50% no-claim discount (NCD), no claims
- Repairs: authorised workshop, no options
The range
13 insurers price the C3 Aircross for that driver. The lowest premium is S$604.07 a year. The insurer whose lowest plan is dearest asks at least S$1,264.05. That is S$659.98 more, or 109% on top. All prices include 9% GST.
Three insurers on our panel have no online price for this model.
Excess
Most plans set a S$600 excess. Two set S$500, two S$750 and three S$800. One plan sets S$2,500, and one has no excess.
Check the excess on each plan you consider, since it is what you pay first on any claim.
What changes the price
The price page shows the lowest price with one detail changed:
- No NCD (0%): S$1,098.76, S$494.69 more
- 20% NCD: S$1,017.37, S$413.30 more
- Driver aged 27, 3 years' driving, 30% NCD: S$1,098.76, S$494.69 more
- Driver aged 65, 20 or more years' driving: S$604.07, the same
- A new car, registered this year: S$622.34, S$18.27 more
- A car 8 years old: S$552.91, S$51.16 less
The NCD is the main lever. Without it, the lowest price rises 82%. A 20% NCD saves only a little on that.
A younger driver with a short record pays the same as someone with no NCD. Driver age at the other end makes no difference. An 8-year-old car is a little cheaper.
These are lowest prices. Other plans may move by other amounts.
The NCD also explains why small claims can cost more than they seem. A claim can reduce the discount, and the higher premium stays until it is rebuilt.
Quote terms to compare
Beyond the price, check:
- Workshop: these figures assume an authorised workshop. Plans that allow any workshop may differ.
- Named drivers: an extra, younger driver can push the price up.
- NCD protection: an optional extra on some plans.
- Excess: your share of each claim.

Checks for a used buyer
Before agreeing a price, confirm:
- COE expiry: how many years of use you are buying.
- Road tax: when it falls due, and whether a surcharge applies.
- Your own quote: for your details and this car.
Costs that depend on you
These have no single figure:
- Parking: HDB or condo season parking, plus elsewhere.
- Petrol: your distance and the pump price.
- ERP: your routes and hours.
- Servicing and parts: the maker's schedule, plus tyres, brakes and a battery over time. Ask who services the car and how parts are sourced.
- Depreciation: what the car loses in value, tied to the COE years left.
