Does maid insurance cover outpatient treatment?
As of 28 Oct 2026 (Singapore time)
Partly. All 14 insurers we compare include some outpatient cover, but many pay only for treatment after an accident; clinic visits for an illness need a higher plan or an add-on, and each visit has its own small limit. MOM's minimum is for hospital stays, so the employer usually pays GP bills.
