Toyota Noah costs in Singapore, from list price to yearly insurance

The Toyota Noah hybrid MPV in Singapore: list prices as listed, its Category B COE, road tax and car insurance for different drivers.

20 Oct 2026 · 5 min read

The Toyota Noah is an MPV, and several versions on the new-car list are 7-seaters. Before you sign for one, it helps to see every cost side by side. This guide covers the list price, the COE, road tax and car insurance, then the costs that depend on you.

Insurance prices here are examples for one stated driver, read on 20 October 2026. Treat them as a way to see the size of each cost. Your own quote depends on your details.

Noah versions on the new-car list

The new-car list read on 2026-10-10 shows the Noah as an MPV made in Japan. Every version on it is a petrol-electric hybrid with 138bhp:

  • Noah Hybrid 2022 1.8 SZ 7-Seater: 1,797cc
  • Noah Hybrid 2022 1.8 X 7-Seater: 1,797cc
  • Noah Hybrid 2022 1.8 X Welcab Swivel Chair: 1,797cc
  • Noah Hybrid 1.8 Elegance: 1,798cc, listed twice at different prices
  • Noah Hybrid 1.8 SX: 1,797cc
  • Noah Hybrid MYCAR Edition 1.8 X 7-Seater: 1,797cc

Our quote form carries the 1.8 Elegance (1,798cc) and the 1.8 SX (1,797cc). The insurance figures below are for the 1.8 Elegance, the version most insurers quote.

List prices

As listed on 2026-10-10, with COE included in the list price that day:

  • Hybrid 2022 1.8 SZ 7-Seater: S$218,600
  • Hybrid 1.8 SX: S$219,300
  • Hybrid 2022 1.8 X 7-Seater: S$219,700
  • Hybrid 1.8 Elegance: S$224,888 and S$232,400
  • Hybrid MYCAR Edition 1.8 X 7-Seater: S$225,000
  • Hybrid 2022 1.8 X Welcab Swivel Chair: S$237,800

List prices shift with each COE round. When you compare offers, check what each one includes, such as the warranty, servicing and any extras, before you look at the totals.

Which COE it needs

The price page states that the Noah 1.8 Elegance, with its 1,798cc engine, is above 1,600cc. That puts it in Category B. In the October 2026 1st round, Category B closed at S$130,100.

Each bidding round moves that figure. The latest results sit on the COE page.

Road tax

Road tax is worked out from engine size. For the 1,798cc engine, LTA's formula gives S$975.16 a year, before any age surcharge.

The surcharge starts once a car is past 10 years:

  • Over 10 years: +10%
  • Over 11 years: +20%
  • Over 12 years: +30%
  • Over 13 years: +40%
  • Over 14 years: +50%

The 1,797cc versions have a slightly different engine size, so their tax may differ. The road tax page lets you look it up.

Car insurance for a family's main driver

The Toyota Noah price page prices this set of details:

  • Car: Noah 1.8 Elegance, registered 3 years ago, private use, comprehensive cover
  • Driver: aged 40, married, office job, driving 10 to 19 years
  • Record: 50% no-claim discount (NCD), no claims
  • Repairs: authorised workshop, no add-ons

For that driver, 12 insurers price the Noah. The lowest premium is S$900.37. The insurer whose lowest plan is highest asks at least S$1,506.70, which is S$606.33 more, or 67% on top. All prices include 9% GST.

Four insurers on our panel have no online price for this model yet.

Excess

The excess is what you pay towards each claim yourself. Most plans on this page carry S$600. A few are at S$500 or S$800. The range runs from S$0 to S$2,500. Compare excesses along with premiums, since a low premium paired with a large excess can cost more if you claim.

What moves the premium

With one detail changed and the rest held, the price page shows these lowest prices:

  • No NCD (0%): S$1,083.50, S$183.13 more
  • 20% NCD: S$1,083.50, S$183.13 more
  • Driver aged 27, 3 years' driving, 30% NCD: S$1,083.50, S$183.13 more
  • Driver aged 65, 20 or more years' driving: S$983.86, S$83.49 more
  • A new car, registered this year: S$927.39, S$27.02 more
  • A car 8 years old: S$848.69, S$51.68 less

Without an NCD, the lowest price rises 20%. That is the largest jump of the six. A young driver and a driver with 20% NCD land on the same figure. An older driver pays a bit more. A new Noah costs slightly more to insure than a 3-year-old one, and an 8-year-old one slightly less.

These are lowest prices only. Other plans may move by different amounts.

Against similar cars

The price page compares the Noah with six cars for the same driver and car age:

Their average lowest price is S$783.18. The Noah sits 15% above that, and five of the six cost less to insure. Only the Lexus NX costs more. Other Toyotas are listed on the Toyota car insurance page.

Costs that vary by owner

  • Parking: season parking at your HDB block or condo, plus parking at work and on outings.
  • Petrol: the hybrid uses petrol and its electric motor; what you spend turns on your mileage and pump prices.
  • ERP: set by your routes and the time of day.
  • Servicing: the maker's schedule, plus tyres, brakes and batteries over the years. Ask what the warranty covers on the hybrid parts.
  • Depreciation: what you pay against what the car fetches later in its COE life.
