The new-car list has no Suzuki Kizashi on sale now, so you are most likely looking at one on the used market. Its 2.4-litre engine sets much of the yearly bill. This page goes through each cost that has a figure, then the ones that depend on you.
The insurance prices are examples, read from our price page on 20 October 2026, for one stated driver. They are a guide to the range, not a quote for you.
The version priced
There is no new-car list entry for the Kizashi on sale now, so no list price is given. Our quote form carries one version:
- Kizashi 2.4: 2,393cc
Every figure below is for that car.
COE
With a 2,393cc engine, above 1,600cc, the Kizashi 2.4 needs a Category B COE. In the October 2026 1st round, Category B closed at S$130,100.
The result changes each bidding round. The COE page has the latest. On a used car the COE is already paid, so look at how many years it has left. That shapes what the car is worth to you.
Road tax
Road tax rises with engine size, and the Kizashi's engine is on the larger side. For 2,393cc, LTA's formula gives S$1,673.08 a year, before any age surcharge. It was checked on 2026-10-19.
An older car pays a surcharge on top:
- Over 10 years: +10%
- Over 11 years: +20%
- Over 12 years: +30%
- Over 13 years: +40%
- Over 14 years: +50%
On any used car, check the car's registration date so you know whether a surcharge applies. The road tax page has other engine sizes.
What insurance costs for one driver
The Suzuki Kizashi price page prices these details:
- Car: Kizashi 2.4, registered 3 years ago, private use, comprehensive cover
- Driver: aged 40, married, office job, driving 10 to 19 years
- Record: 50% no-claim discount (NCD), no claims
- Repairs: authorised workshop, no add-ons
13 insurers price the Kizashi online for that driver. The lowest premium is S$742.90. The insurer whose lowest plan is dearest asks at least S$1,781.41. That is S$1,038.51 more, or 140% on top. All prices include 9% GST.
That is a wide gap. The dearest insurer's lowest plan costs well over twice the lowest premium, for the same car and driver.
The excess
Every plan carries an excess, the part of a claim you pay yourself. On this page S$600 is the most common figure. The range runs from S$0 to S$3,000. Several plans in the lower half of the price list ask S$2,500 or S$3,000. Look at the excess before you decide a premium is low. A plan with no excess costs more each year but leaves nothing to pay on a claim. A plan with a S$3,000 excess costs less but leaves more of a claim with you.
How the price changes
The price page shows the lowest price when one detail changes, everything else held:
- No NCD (0%): S$1,098.76, S$355.86 more
- 20% NCD: S$1,098.76, S$355.86 more
- Driver aged 27, 3 years' driving, 30% NCD: S$1,098.76, S$355.86 more
- Driver aged 65, 20 or more years' driving: S$742.90, the same
- New car, registered this year: S$764.82, S$21.92 more
- Car 8 years old: S$666.79, S$76.11 less
The NCD is what counts most here. Without it, the lowest price rises by 48%. A 20% NCD and a younger driver with 30% NCD both land at the same figure. An older driver with long experience pays the same as the example.
For a used Kizashi, the useful line is the 8-year-old car. It comes in S$76.11 below the example. These are lowest prices only, and dearer plans may move differently.
Against similar cars
The price page compares the Kizashi with six cars with engines of a similar size, for the same driver and car age:
- Toyota Camry: S$841.31
- Toyota Alphard: S$764.82
- Toyota Vellfire: S$764.82
- Honda Odyssey: S$811.71
- Mitsubishi Outlander: S$861.03
- Audi RS 3 Sedan: S$1,310.08
Their average lowest price is S$892.30. The Kizashi costs 17% less than that, and none of the six is cheaper to insure. The Toyota Alphard and Vellfire come closest. The Audi RS 3 Sedan, priced by only 3 insurers, sits well above the rest. That one car pulls the average up, so the Kizashi's lead over the other five is smaller than 17%.
Other Suzuki models are on the Suzuki car insurance page.
Costs that depend on the owner
These vary too much from person to person for one figure.
- Parking: HDB or condo season parking, plus parking at work and elsewhere.
- Petrol: depends on how far you drive and the pump price.
- ERP: depends on your routes and the times you drive.
- Servicing and repairs: follow the maker's schedule. Tyres, brakes and a battery come due over the years. On a used car, ask for the service record and what is due next.
- Depreciation: depends on what you pay, the COE years left and what the car fetches at the end.
The figures together
For the Kizashi 2.4, dated as shown:

- Insurance, example driver: from S$742.90 a year (20 October 2026)
- Insurance, no NCD: from S$1,098.76
