The cost of owning and insuring an Infiniti Q60 in Singapore

Infiniti Q60 running costs in Singapore: its COE category, yearly road tax for a 2,997cc engine and dated insurance prices for set drivers.

20 Oct 2026 · 5 min read

Few Infiniti Q60s are on Singapore roads, and fewer insurers price one online than for a mainstream car. That makes it worth knowing the costs before you commit. This page covers the ones we can show with figures: the COE category, road tax and car insurance.

The insurance figures are examples for one stated driver, read on 20 October 2026. They are a guide to the size of each cost, not a quote for you.

The version on our quote form

The new-car list has no Q60 on sale today, so this page gives no list price, and any Q60 you buy now will be a used car. Our quote form has one version of the Q60:

  • Q60 3.0T Coupe: 2,997cc

Every insurance, road tax and COE figure below is for that version. If the car you are looking at is listed differently on its papers, check the engine size matches before you rely on these figures.

COE category

The price page's COE section places the Q60 3.0T Coupe, with a 2,997cc engine, above 1,600cc. It needs a Category B COE.

That category closed at S$130,100 in the October 2026 1st round. Results change each round, and the COE page carries the latest. On a used car, check how many years of COE are left, as that shapes what the car is worth.

Road tax

A large engine means a large road tax bill. For the 2,997cc engine, LTA's formula gives S$2,381.58 a year, before any age surcharge.

Once the car passes 10 years, the surcharge rises in steps:

  • Over 10 years: +10%
  • Over 11 years: +20%
  • Over 12 years: +30%
  • Over 13 years: +40%
  • Over 14 years: +50%

Road tax is one of the larger fixed yearly costs on this car. The road tax page has other engine sizes for comparison.

Car insurance for the example driver

The Infiniti Q60 price page prices these details:

  • Car: Q60 3.0T Coupe, registered 3 years ago, private use, comprehensive cover
  • Driver: aged 40, married, office job, 10 to 19 years of driving
  • Record: 50% no-claim discount (NCD), no claims
  • Repairs: authorised workshop, no options

Only 7 insurers price this car for that driver. The lowest premium is S$1,191.38. The insurer with the dearest lowest plan asks at least S$4,006.36. That is S$2,814.98 more, or 236% on top. Prices include 9% GST.

That is a very wide gap. With so few insurers pricing the car, each one you leave out of a comparison is a large share of the field.

Who has no online price

Nine insurers that price cars online have no online price for the Q60. For one of them, the reason given is that the model is not on its online quote. The rest have no online price for it yet. If you want more choice than the seven, you may need to ask insurers directly.

Excess

Look at the excess with every premium. It is the amount you pay on each claim. On this page four plans carry S$600 and three carry S$800. Across all ten plans, it runs from S$0 to S$2,500. A premium only tells half the story if the excess is high.

When the details change

The price page also shows the lowest premium when one detail changes:

  • No NCD (0%): S$1,863.86, S$672.48 more
  • 20% NCD: S$1,863.86, S$672.48 more
  • Driver aged 27, 3 years' driving, 30% NCD: S$1,863.86, S$672.48 more
  • Driver aged 65, 20 or more years' driving: S$1,294.14, S$102.76 more
  • New car, registered this year: S$1,304.85, S$113.47 more
  • Car 8 years old: S$1,089.26, S$102.12 less

Without an NCD, the lowest price is 56% higher, the biggest change on the list. Unlike some cars, the older driver here pays more than the 40-year-old. A newer car costs more to insure and an older one less. These are lowest prices; other plans may move differently.

Similar cars at the same settings

The price page compares six similar cars, priced for the same driver and car age:

Their average lowest price is S$1,242.89, and the Q60 comes in 4% below it. Only the BMW 7 Series is cheaper to insure. Most of these rivals are priced by more insurers than the Q60. Other models of the make are on the Infiniti car insurance page.

Costs that vary by owner

These depend on how you use the car, so we give no figures:

  • Parking: season parking where you live, plus daily parking at work and in town.
  • Petrol: depends on distance driven and pump prices.
  • ERP: depends on your routes and times.
  • Servicing and repairs: parts and labour for a less common model can take longer to source. Ask about this before you buy.
  • Depreciation: tied to the price paid and the COE years remaining.

Summary of yearly costs we can show

For the Infiniti Q60 3.0T Coupe, dated as shown:

  • Road tax: S$2,381.58 a year, before any age surcharge (LTA's formula, checked 2026-10-19)
  • Insurance, standard driver: from S$1,191.38 a year (20 October 2026)
  • Insurance, no NCD: from S$1,863.86
  • Insurance, car 8 years old: from S$1,089.26

A Category B COE closed at S$130,100 in the October 2026 1st round, for reference.
