The Infiniti M25 Premium is a car with a 2,496cc engine and no entry on the current new-car list. If you own one, or are looking at one second-hand, the figures that matter are the recurring ones. That means road tax, the COE rules and the yearly insurance bill.
Insurance figures here are examples for one stated driver, read on 20 October 2026. They show the spread and how it shifts. Your own price will depend on your details.
The version priced
The quote form carries the M25 Premium, with a 2,496cc engine. It is the version insurers quote, and all the figures below are for it.
The new-car list has no entry for this model. So there is no list price, power figure or body type to give.
The COE
The M25 Premium's 2,496cc engine is above 1,600cc. The price page puts it in Category B, which closed at S$130,100 in the October 2026 1st round.
For a used car, check when the COE runs out. At that point you renew it or take the car off the road. The COE page posts each round's result.
Road tax
At 2,496cc, the engine attracts S$1,793.90 a year in road tax on LTA's formula, before any age surcharge. Cars over 10 years old pay more:
- Over 10 years: +10%
- Over 11 years: +20%
- Over 12 years: +30%
- Over 13 years: +40%
- Over 14 years: +50%
For an older M25, the surcharge on a base this size adds up. Find the registration date to see which step applies. The road tax page has more.
Insurance for one driver
The Infiniti M25 Premium price page prices this case:
- Car: M25 Premium, registered 3 years ago, private use, comprehensive cover
- Driver: aged 40, married, office job, driving 10 to 19 years
- Record: 50% no-claim discount (NCD), no claims
- Repairs: authorised workshop, no add-ons
9 insurers price it. The lowest premium is S$1,016.86. The insurer whose lowest plan is dearest asks at least S$2,435.98, which is S$1,419.12 more, or 140% on top. All prices include 9% GST.
Seven insurers have no online price for the M25 Premium. With fewer to choose from, the gap between the top and bottom of the range matters more. It is worth collecting every quote you can, and giving each insurer exactly the same details, so you can set the prices side by side.
The excess behind the lowest price
The plan with the lowest premium carries a S$2,500 excess. Most other plans ask S$600 or S$800, and one has no excess. So the lowest premium is not the lowest cost if you claim. A plan a little dearer each year with a S$600 excess could cost less in a year with a claim. Weigh the two figures together.
Ask too whether young drivers, or drivers not named on the policy, face a higher excess.
How the lowest price moves
The price page changes one detail at a time:
- No NCD (0%): S$1,332.37, S$315.51 more
- 20% NCD: S$1,332.37, S$315.51 more
- Driver aged 27, 3 years' driving, 30% NCD: S$1,332.37, S$315.51 more
- Driver aged 65, 20 or more years' driving: S$1,186.51, S$169.65 more
- A new car, registered this year: S$994.84, S$22.02 less
- A car 8 years old: S$951.90, S$64.96 less
Without NCD, the lowest price is 31% higher. The same figure turns up at 20% NCD and for a younger driver. An older driver also pays more here, which does not happen with every car.
Both a new car and an 8-year-old one come in below the 3-year-old car at the lowest price. These are lowest prices only. Other plans may move in different directions.
Against similar cars
The price page sets six cars of similar engine size beside the M25 Premium, for the same driver and car age:
- Audi RS 3 Sedan: S$1,310.08
- Mitsubishi Outlander: S$861.03
- Toyota Camry: S$841.31
- Honda Odyssey: S$811.71
- Toyota Alphard: S$764.82
- Toyota Vellfire: S$764.82
Their lowest prices average S$892.30. The M25 Premium is 14% above that, and five of the six are cheaper to insure. Only the Audi RS 3 Sedan starts higher, and just 3 insurers price it. Other Infiniti models are on the Infiniti car insurance page, and the cheapest cars to insure page compares makes.
Costs no fixed figure covers
These depend on how you live and drive:
- Parking: season parking at your HDB block or condo, plus what you pay elsewhere.
- Petrol: your mileage and pump prices.
- ERP: the routes you take and when.
- Servicing and repairs: the maker's schedule, then tyres, brakes, a battery and other wear parts as the car ages. For a less common make, ask how easily parts can be sourced.
- Depreciation: on a used car, largely the price you pay against the COE years left.
